Prince of Whales is the largest and safest environmentally-friendly year-round whale watching & eco-adventure company in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Prince of Whales excursions leave Victoria’s Inner Harbour on a regular schedule throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Passengers embark on a wildlife cruise up to 100-kilometres in length in search of Killer Whales, Gray Whales, Minke Whales,  and Humpback Whales. A variety of smaller marine mammals and sea birds are often seen as well. The company strives to provide an exciting experience that is both safe and educational.

We currently operate 10 high-speed open-air Zodiac-style vessels and two Ocean Magic II Class Express Cruisers. The Ocean Magic boats were purpose-built for whale watching in 2005. They are state-of-the-art vessels which lessen effects on the animal environment by reducing the amount of noise created and by carrying more passengers within one boat.

Swiftsure Promotional Offer
As part of the exciting annual Swiftsure event, we are pleased to announce a special promotional offer. For $50, passengers may board the Ocean Magic and watch the beginning of the Swiftsure race from the comfort of our state-of-the-art vessel, which has light snacks, beverages, and onboard washrooms. The trip leaves the Inner Harbour  for a vantage point of the Swiftsure starting line at 8:30am and returns at 11:30am.
